What Is The Cause Of Burning After A Pap Smear?

I had an awful UTI a couple of weeks ago and finished a one week regime of Cipro a week ago today. The UTI symptoms got better but the stinging never went away entirely. Now, today I had a pap smear and I have awful burning. Do you think I need to go back to the doctor for another round of antibiotics? Thanks.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern the burning sensation could be due to the UTI and not because of the pep smear and in my opinion you have to drink plenty off water, this will come around, if this does not then it would be better to have the Liquid Sodium citrate three times in day, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
