What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain?

I've been waking up, about four hours after going to bed, with minor pain on left side of my chest. If I take an ibuprofen (200 mg) the pain goes away in about one half hour. This has been happening each night for about three weeks. What would suggest? I am 76 years old.

Gastro- oesophageal reflux disease, gastritis and gastric ulcer. 3. lung related- pleuritis, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia, pleural effusion. 4. psychological- panic attack, anxiety, depression.
