What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain?

Adderall
I'm a 28 year old female. I'm 120 pounds & 5'5". I recently started taking 50mgs of Zoloft & 15mgs of adderall xr for a generalized anxiety disorder, add, Ocd & ptsd. I'm also on an oral contraceptive.

I have had chest pain on & off for years, but I've noticed it getting much worse since starting the new meds. Chest pain is listed as a side effect, so I'm not sure if it is cause for concern. Should I discontinue the meds? They are helping me be more functional but at what cost?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Your chest pain is mostly due to anxiety and stress.
But better to get done ecg, to rule out cardiac cause.
If ecg is normal then no need to worry for cardiac cause.
Your chest pain is anxiety related only.
Since you are not improving with these drugs, better to consult psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
Don't stop these drugs immediately. Ask psychiatrist about drugs and dosage.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
