What Is The Cause Of Constant Pain In The Neck Migrated To The Base Of My Skull With A Sore Throat?
I am male, mid 50s, good health . 4 days ago I started having constant pain in right side of neck leading up into skull. There seemed to be no associated physical trauma as in a cricked neck. This constant pain has slowly migrated to the base of my skull . only other symptom is sore throat - no fever, pulse normal (70-ish) . Pain increased when I tip my head back, but not side to side. pain releved somewhat by codeine
HI Thank for asking to HCM This is non specific type of pain that does not give any clue initially and most of the times gives very good response to analgesic medicine, if I would be your doctor then I would suggest you the following medicine, 1) Tab. Acetaminophen three time in day 2) Tab Ibuprofen three times in day I hope this medicine would help you, have nice day.
