What Is The Cause Of Crawling Sensation?

scalp, face and ears feel like bugs are crawling. I'm 71 and never had anything like it. Two dermatologists said there's nothing, but sometimes I think I see tiny almost microscopic insects in the sink. I am a healthy person with a fulfilled life in love and career. I am willing to accept that it may be psychological, but something in me can't quite believe it.

Hi,

You seem to have psychosomatic skin disease called dellusion of parasitosis. It is an obscessive compulsive disorder. In this condition, patient feels that he is infested with insects. And there may be crawling sensation. Actually there is no insects found,but pstient shows, skin debris as insects. There may be scratching. And that is why,erosins may be there. Pimozide or fluoxetin may be taken for long time. After months of treatment under dermatologist and psychiatris, you might feel better. I hope you got my answer.
