What Is The Cause Of Dizziness?

I was recently on vacation. I feel really woozy and out of it right now and am trying to determine if this is related to:
1) Being on a boat for a week so my ears got used to the motion
2) Hurting my ears while diving around while snorkling.
3) These two big spider bites on my foot that I got at the hotel.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness. Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons like low blood sugar and iron level, ear infection, due to some medication, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, meniere's disease and migraine. Need not to worry. For now do warm saline gargles and take steam twice daily. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan , blood test, posturography and examination with otoscope. Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics at least for 10 days and recommend vestibular therapy.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
