What Is The Cause Of Edema?

Hello doctor , I am taking Telmisartan hydrochlothiazide for 5 years nor , was prescibed B FOLICN PLUS - TILL THEN EVERY THING OK, THAN I ADDED KERAGLOW EVA FOR HAIR LOSS - I HAD GENERALISED EDEMA , AND AFTER 15 DAYS WAS PRESCIBED MEGANEURON OD PLUS - MY EDEMa has worsened and i also have heaedache- all my bllod reports , bp and urine reports are normal -What could be the cause of edema

Since you are a patient of high blood pressure and taking telmisartan hydrochlorothiazide . As hydrochlorothiazide is a potent diuretic and you are using this drug from last 5 years i.e . in spite of this that you are receiving diuretic and still edema present , so need not to blame folic acid , keralog ( hairs loss) and b complex ( meganeurone od plus i.e methylcobalamine) .
The edema in high blood pressure patient may be due to .
1 Congestive heart failure , diagnosis can be confirmed by ECHO and e kg .
2 Anemia , diagnosis can be confirmed by hemoglobin level examination.
3 Hypoproteneamia as this is most common cause of edema all over body.
However there are so many other causes of edema in blood pressure patient as abdominal ascites , renal failure , deficiency of protein.
In my opinion consult a Cardiologist and get his opinion as this type of edema in heart ( BP ) patient is a cause of concern.
