What Is The Cause Of Excessive Sweating?

Hello, I am sweating heavily under my armpits at the same time each morning each day and then as the day wears on I sweat to a lesser extent. I have a mentally but not physically challenging job but I am not exhibiting any other symptoms. Can you explain the excessive sweating please?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, can be a warning sign of thyroid problems, diabetes or infection.
Excessive sweating is also more common in people who are overweight or out of shape.
Most cases of excessive sweating are harmless.
I recommend to do a complete blood count, glycemic level and thyroid hormone levels for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
