What Is The Cause Of Fainting Spell?

Hi. I found my sister lying on the floor and when I asked what she was doing she said she was sleeping. only later did I notice also the glass she was holding was dropped. I helped her up and when I asked her again what she was doing she said nothing. is this any indication for something serious?
