HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I would like to tell you something as long as the human body temperature is concern to rule out the possibility of fever (Body temperature above 37 C) the reading of body temperature should be taken under the axillary region, tympanic membrane temperature, intra rectum, here one can get the core temperature and this is important to decide whether this is fever or not, in against of this surface temperature is there and usually by putting hand on body surface one can get the idea of increase temperature but this would not be fever no matter how this is worm or hot, hope this information helps you bye.
