What Is The Cause Of Flap In The Left Side Of My Throat?
Hi I am a 34 year old woman. I just tonight found a strange "flap" in the left side of my throat. I drink wine every night approx. 3 glasses while reading book, and am scared if this is normal throat infection, or maybe signs of throat cancer?

Although i cannot tell you for sure without examining you , i think the flap maybe edematous mucosa in your throat and maybe due to an infection or acid reflux. I would like you to stop your wine and meet a doctor for confirming this. You can also start gargling with warm salt water, it will help!
