What Is The Cause Of High Hemoglobin Level And Blurry Vision?

I have a followup appointment tomorrow. I had bloodwork done on Monday because I have been feeling extremely worn out and exhausted. Also I have had blurry vision and am dealing with blurry vision now. The nurse who made the appointment said my blood sugar was 217 and that my hemoglobin was pretty high. What might be the problem? And, I'm specifically curious to know shat could cause high hemoglobin because I've never heard if that and I don't even knw shat hemoglobin is. Thanks in advance!

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
High hemoglobin level may be due to polycythemia vera. It is a chronic myeloproliferative disorder.
Simple dehydration can leads to high Hemoglobin level. Many viral infection can leads to high hemoglobin. You should go for peripheral smear examination and complete blood count. then take treatment accordingly.
