What Is The Cause Of Irregular Heart Beat?

I have been experiencing skips in my heart beat. I have been sick with allergies and starting seeing a specialist. I have taken several doses of steroids in the last three months. It mostly happens at night, but have noticed it in the day time also. Should I see a heart doctor?

One can not know the irregular heart beat without seeing the EKG tracing, patient can not know the irregular heart beat, if this is your feeling then this may be just functional condition and if you want to clear the doubt then it is must to get done the Ekg test, hope this helps
