What Is The Cause Of Itchiness After A Pap Smear?
hi I went to my dr for my yearly check up, she did a pap smear. I started to burn and itch.throughit was a yeast.Took 3 diff things, nothing.Went back to dr She said it might have something to do with the pap test,cause it should coccobacilli present consistent with shift in vaginal flora( I am reading from paper from the lab) Is this ok or do I need to worry about,the Dr sure did not seem to .Thanks for being there

It may be post procedure burning and itching.
There is nothing to worry. Just take antihistaminics to relieve itching.
