What Is The Cause Of Joint Hypermobility?

i have joint hypermobility with no pain at all ever, through out time ive forcefully worsened my shoulder instability by willingly playing with it and force it in and out by them selves with out using my other arm to pop them out of place, i have also found ways to use my internal muscles to move my hip joints to and now they are unstable as well... i dont know why they are unstable, is it possible for someone to use mind to muscle connection to force their joints to become unstable?
