What Is The Cause Of Less Bleeding?

I have a pregnancy of 7 weeks.I take miferpristone before 2 days.Today morning I take 2 tablets if misoprostl after 2 hours heavy bleeding is start.bleeding is less on evening than morning.can I take other dose of misoprostol or avoid that dose.Is everything is ok.plz tell me as early as possible

Thanks for writing to us.

Following taking abortion pills (both Mifepristone and Misoprostol), you will get heavy to moderate vaginal bleeding and abdominal cramp.

However, light bleeding may continue up to 7 days to resolve completely. Maintain genital hygiene properly. You may need double dose sometimes in case of incomplete abortion.

Post pill abortion, you must do a pelvic ultrasound scan to check retained bits/ conceptional products if any and may need D &C to complete abortion.

Practice safe sex by using safe period/ OCP/ other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
