I HAVE BEEN TAKING CHLORTHALID FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I AM LIGHT HEADED AND LOSS OFF APPETITE; I ELSO EXPERIENCE A SENSATION OF BEING FULL AND A LOW GRADE NAUSEA . 2 DAYS AGO I BLACKED OUT AND FELL ON THE FLOOR. ARER THESE NORMAL CONTAINDICATIONS OF THIS MEDICATION?

Hi,
You have probably developed dehydration secondary to fluid loss induced by chlorthalidone. It also brings down your BP causing postural fall, a cause of your blackout.
You may consult your doctor and ask for another medication you can hopefully tolerate.
