What Is The Cause Of Pain On My Finger Joints?

I have a consant aching pain in my finger joints and they are very heavy and stiff all the time. I occasionally get a burning in the right index finger pip joint. I have been to my family doctor and been given Naprosyn but these offer minimal relief at best. I'm a 19 year old female.
