What Is The Cause Of Pressure In Throat And Chest Area?

I am 36 yr old female. I have pressure /tightness in my throat and chest area that seems to get worse while active, but I get relief from burping or eating. I was told years ago I had gerd, but never had any issues. This has been going on for a month now, any suggestions?

Hi GERD can cause the same problems your are stating. GERD can be a recurrent problem. It is advisable to go for endoscopy and further evaluation by your Doctor to get at the right diagnosis and proper treatment.
