What Is The Cause Of Rashes With The Swelling On The Face When On Wikoryl?

hi ,

my son is 5 years old and is suffering from severe cold and fever max 99.5, our doctor has prescribed wikoryl 5ml 2 times a day and imol 8ml for fever , but from yesterday we are finding rashes over his body an little swelling on face palm and feet , is this reaction to the medicine please suggest

Wikoryl is a combination of paracetamol , a decongestant and an anti histamine. Because of the anti histamine aspect of this medication , it is not likely that an allergic reaction can occur to this medication.
Imol is ibuprofen, it is possible that he may have a reaction to this.

Rash can also occur as part as a viral illness, called viral exanthem. You may wan to take him to his doctor so that he or she can determine the likely source of the rash.
