What Is The Cause Of Recurring Sores On Bottom?

Hello Dr., Since childhood, I tend to get small sores on my bottom. They occur quite often and then go away on their own. Since they occur repeatedly, I am worried. Can you please advise me as to what might be causing the sores and what should I do to prevent them from happening often?
