What Is The Cause Of Ringing In My Ears With Tinnitus?

I have just been diagnosed with tinnitus. It is horrible. I have not been able to go to work or sleep for one weed. I had CT scan and blood work drawn and nothing was found to be causing the ringing in my ears. Now I am being told there is nothing that can be done. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi sir, ringing in ear is nothing tinnitus.
U can get an audiogram done to see if you have any hearing nerve weakness.
Even if weakness is there then also not much of treatment is there .
Treatment: multivitamins for 3 months along with ginko biloba drug.
Oral steroid for short peroid , may be for 10 days.
Tab. Vertin 16 mg bd for 1 month. This is a vaso active drug to increase the blood flow to nerve.
Next line of treatment is intratympanic steroid injection for 4 weeks
If nothing works just ignore this symptoms, it goes away with time.

Hello

There can be many causes of tinnitus and i would like to know the blood reports, audiology reports and the ct scan report!
I would also suggest that you get your blood sugar , hemoglobin , thyroid hormone levels and most importantly a mri scan of your brain/ear done.
