What Is The Cause Of Sharp Pain Under The Stomach During Pregnancy?

Hi i am 30 yrs old, and over 2 weeks pregnant but by the pregnancy calculator i am 3 weeks and 3 days, today when stretching i got a sharp pain on my lower left side like under my stomach, hard to explain where only way i can say it is where the top of my leg joins my hip.. and a couple of times today i had small little stiches, i am just wondering is this normal as i am very early and i cant see how i would have any pains.. just a little worried, thank you

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Aches and pains especially during the early stages of pregnancy are quite common. I would recommend an ultrasiund examination to ensure all is well, but other than this nothing is really required to determine safety. If the USG returns a normal result, there should be nothing to worry about as this is just your fetus and uterus growing in size.
