What Is The Cause Of Sore Armpit Of A Breast Cancer Survivor After A Tdap Vaccine?

Hi,
I had a Tdap vaccine on monday and the following day, the same arm that I got the injection in my armpit was swollen and very painful (stinging). oddly enough I really didn't have much discomfort or pain at the injection site. It is 4 days latter now and I still have soreness in the armpit I am a 18 year breast cancer surviver and this really concerned me Should I go see my sergeon,or, is it safe to say that this is just a reaction of the Tdap vaccine?

Hi

I think it is just a reaction of Tdap vaccine.

Apply volini gel over the area locally.

Also you can do hot sponging in the area twice a day.

If pain still persist then take tablet paracetamol 500m mg twice daily after food or 3 days.
