What Is The Cause Of Soreness After Situps ?

last week did three sets of situps.......was a little sore.......a week later tried doing a situp.....on my first one felt a burning feeling like something tore......very sharp pain..........30 mins later still burns lol........i think i over did it last week.....

Hi,
It is important to know if you were doing them regularly or it was your first time or resuming them. If you do not do them regularly, its but normal since your body is not adapted to such strain. Continuing despite pain forces the pain to disappear with time as the body becomes used to. Kind regards
