What Is The Cause Of Soreness And Discomfort Inside Throat With Headaches?

I have had this soreness and discomfort inside my throat for around a month now, when I take a deep breath in it hurts the most, it feels like a sharp pain, followed by something stuck in my throat. my neck hurts.,I get headaches all the time. my throat kind of feels like its closing up, and I do cough allot, and feel the need to clear my throat very often

I think that you have a sore throat or a throat infection. This happens when you have a streptococcal infection and can cause several problems in the person involved. It is also possible that you have a viral infection or tonsillitis.

Since you have breathing difficulty as well, I am inclined to lean towards tonsillitis which can cause the issue. If this problem is recurrent and has happened twice in the last year, I recommend that you see a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and consider getting surgery done to remove the tonsils. This is the only treatment for recurring tonsillitis.

For the time being, you can take tablet Paracetamol 500 mg twice a day to help with the headache for 3 days. All the best.
