Hi,

Mild infection or inflammation of the vagina may have occurred following sex.Avoid scratching or repeated touching of the swollen area.Swelling and irritation will subside in the next few days.Do not worry.

Any history of excess or foul smelling vaginal discharge will confirm the presence of vaginal infections.I would suggest you to take a vaginal smear to rule out any infections. You may require an antibiotic course for 5 days.Topical application of antibiotic cream can also be used.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
