What Is The Cause Of Tonsils Being Red And Tender ?

hello doctor, how are you? I took co-amoxiclav 500/3 per day for ten days for a sore throat. i feel much better but now 2 days after finishing the anti-biotics the red flap on my tonsil is red and a bit tender, though i have no difficulty swallowing and no fever. thank you very much.
