What Is The Correlation Between Endoscopy And Paralysis?

Hi my wife have pain in chest and abdomen from last two months.intensity of pain is very high her gallbladder is removed by laparoscopic surgery before 3 years. No evidence is found of ulcer in ultrasound and c.t scan and in barium x Rey.before ten years same problem she faced and doctor done endoscopy after endoscopy she paralyzed same thing happened with her maternal grandfather after endoscopy.I am very tensed now about her problem what is the way to diagnose her problem. Is there any correlation between endoscopy and paralysis.please answer.

Endoscopy is a widely performed procedure. Chances for complications are very low. Paralysis are unlikely after colonoscopy and you can safely proceed with colonoscopy.
