What Is The Cure For Light Patches On Skin?

I noticed a light patch if skin on my chin about 3 moths ago. I have it on my upper lip, my chin and a patch on my cheek. I saw a dermatologist who stated that it was ezima. She prescibed me edela. It isnt getting better. I am a 34 yr old black female with that has never had skin problems. I am so afraid these spots will get lighter and worse. What else could this be?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
Your description matches with that.
Usually fungal infections are itchy but may present without itch.
This type of infection is called as P. alba
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
