What Is The Difference Between Thyroup And Thyronorm ?

Hi, I have thyroid problem, my throid was earlier below range so doctor suggested me thyroup 25 mcg, then after 1 month it became above range then he suggested me thyroup 50 mch but I took thyronorm 50mcg. So is there any difference between Thyroup and Thyronorm? Or its just a brand name?

Hello,
as you rightly said, both thyroup and thyronorm contain same medicine, but made by two different pharma companies. But i must say that, better stick to a single brand than changing it frequently. I would personally prefer a thyroid medicine nicely covered and protected away from sunlight and heat. So i prefer such packing. Thyroxine ( which is the content of these medicines) are heat and light sensitive.
