What Is The Dosage Of Mucolite For Cough In Infants?
Hi, My daughter is 21 months old, weight 11kg. She is having phylum sound while coughing. No running nose or nose block. Its just the phylum. I called the doctor and he asked me to give mucolite, but I didnt get chance to ask the dosage. Can you please tell me the dosage of mucolite to be given. Thanks!

Hello,
You want to use Ambroxol syrup in your child. It is used as bronchodilator medication.
It is to be given in a dose of half teaspoon syrup only twice daily for few days for your child.
Actually, it should be given only after the physical examination of patient esp. In younger child less than 2 years.
