General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Emergency contraceptive pills are meant to be for emergency use and not for regular use. They are not 100%effective. Depending on the time of your cycle, the time you get period varies. Normally you should be getting by a week's time.
Since you mentioned your pregnancy test is positive, it means you will not be getting period until you terminate it.
Regarding retaining or terminating the pregnancy is entirely yours and your husband's decision.
Continuing the pregnancy normally doesn't cause any harm to the fetus. Kindly get an obstetric scan and confirm the pregnancy, Then take a call.
