What Is The Functional Feature Of Novelon?

We are trying to get a baby , our married was done before 4 yers, My doc said we have to go in IVF method and pescribe me Novelon........But i have seen that Novelon tablet is basically a birth control pill....Can i take this ?? please let me know whether taking the Novelon is pegnency will come in natural way??

Hi,
Yes, you are right, Novelon is a birth control pill. You did not say whether you have regular cycles or if you suffer from any hormonal problem. Pills are usually given when planned conception is needed in infertility due to hormonal imbalances to keep the cycles on track before ovulation is induced. As the uterus gets accustomed to regular cycles, it is easier to initiate ovulation and also any unwanted cyst formation that may hamper ovulation is kept in check by the use of the pills.
