What Is The Good Time To Travel Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi doctor,

This is Anky from Abudhabi.My LMP was 16th August 2011. I am planning to have my delivery in India as this is my first pregnancy.Currently i am working here so that i want to go to India towards the end of my pregnancy period.Can you please advice me on which date i can travel to India?

The safest time to travel during pregnancy is between 4 to 6 months of pregnancy. So as you want to travel to India probably by plane, it is recommended that you travel before 28 weeks. Kindly get your self examined by a gynecologist before travel as if you are having any risk factors special care will be required. Hope the information was helpful to you.
