What Is The Gooey Reddish Brown Discharge Am I Having?

i had my period a little over 2 weeks ago and i am on birth control although i have not been taking it at the same time but i take it everyday, anyways ive been having a redish brown discharge for the past 2 weeks, almost like my period but waaay less blood, and its been gooey lately.. what is this?

Hi,

Your symptoms may be due to the pills your are taking. Actually birth control pills are advantageous with few side effects . It includes:
- Spotting in between periods
- Breast swelling or tenderness
- Weight gain
- Stomach upset
- Nausea
- Mood changes
- Headaches and migraine
Usually, these side effects will reduce within few months of taking tablets. If still persists, consult your near by gynecologist for help.
