What Is The Hard And White Discharge I Am Having From My Nipples?

Hi I am 23 years old. Recently I have been noticing a hard and white (sometimes with a black dot) discharge from my nipples. This discharge does not appear every day, usually every week and from the right breast most often and in higher amount than the left one. The amount of the discharge is small. My prolactine level is normal. And I have breast fibroadenoma. Please I need your advice. Thanks in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The hard and white discharge from your nipples is related to breast fibroadenoma. To me, should run culture and sensitivity testing of the discharge, and check the status of breast fibroadenoma through breast ultrasound, and mammogram.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
