What Is The Hole Above The Tail Bone Which Bleeds?

Hello Sir, My Husband is Just 28 Years Old. He is little bit of Bleeding from the hole which is located above anus. He often sit and work for a long time. He told me that it bleeds from the tailbone and have a pain in the lower back. He has this problem since last 5 Months, but he is not ready to go to the Doctor. Can you just tell me why it is so? He sweats more and I personally have not seen where the hole is exactly but he mentioned me, so I describe it to you in such a way. Is there any serious matter. He is comfortable with its regular activities but Have pain while sitting.

Hello,

Perhaps he has a pilonidal cyst or a sinus. Ingrown hairs in that regions are implicated in the pathogenesis. Prolonged sitting is one of the reasons which is implicated in the causations of cyst/sinus.
