Dr, My semen analysis shows: Sperm Count = 25 millions/ml, liquefaction time = 30 mins, Reaction = Alkaline, Motility : Active = 40% Slugglish = 40% Non motile = 20%, Normal heads = 80% Macro heads = 10% Micro heads = 05% Pinhead = 05% Double heads = 00% Dr Pl let me know about my semen analysis. Hi Jeelan, Thanks for posting in HCM. The following things could be inferred on the semen analysis report you have posted. 1. Sperm count of 25 million/ml is normal (Normal value should be more than 20 million/ml). 2. Liquification time of 30 minutes is normal (Normal range is 20 to 30 minutes). 3. Reaction should be alkaline and is normal. 4. Sperm motility with 40% active motility is little less (Normal should be more than 50%) 5. Sperm morphology of with 80% normal heads seems to be good. Hence the report can be considered normal except for motility factor. You can take medications containing L-carnitine, Alpha Lipoic acid, CoQ 10, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc regularly for a month and see for the improvement by getting semen analysis done again.
