What Is The Irregular Bleeding In Spite Of Being On Birth Control?

I forgot to take my birth control two days in a row. So i took two one day and two the next like the birth control pack said too. and then took one like normal on thursday. However, i got my period any way even though i'm on week 2. Now that its friday, and i'll take one tonight, will my period start to go away? and will i have another one in two weeks?
