What Is The Irregular Bleeding Long After A Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago.Bled for 7/8 days and then it came down to spotting.I am still spotting after 5 weeks now and it's been mostly very dark brown blood.is this normal.Also I had a period like bleeding about 10 days ago which lasted for 3/4 days just like period.So I was thinking my period had come.But even after period I am still spotting.
