What Is The Large Lump On The Right Side Of My Pelvis Filled With Fluid?

Hello I am a 46 year old man with medium to large lump on the right. Side of my pelvis its full of fluid I guess because its squishy and sound like water is moving a round. In it. I m scared to go get it checked out due to the fact my mom died of cancer should I be worried. Please help...

Hello,

I can understand you concern for the large lump on the right side of pelvis filled with fluid in it.

It appears from your query that the problem is either cyst or an abscess which has formed on the right side of pelvis.

I suggest you to meet a surgeon at the earliest as there are chances of infection in the same. As it has a a feel of full of fluid I guess because its squishy and sound like water is moving a round so you must be utmost carefull in dealing with it.

You so not try to pinch or pop the area as it can lead to secondary infection and further complications. You may require incision and drainage of the abscess under surgical guidance.
