What Is The Life Expectancy Having The Pumping Of Heart At 20%?

My mother has congestive heart failure and her heart is pumping at only 20%. The hospital wants to release her today, shouldn t they keep her longer? Also how long is her life expectancy? How can we help her improve her current condition? She is very young, late 50 s.

IF she has been stabilized and the medication that she is receiving in the hospital can be given at home then this is the reason she would have been discharged.

In terms of her life expectancy, it would depend not only on her heart function but also the presence of any other conditions.
It would be best to speak to her doctors to find out her prognosis though they are unlikely to be able to give exact numbers.
