What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With Ejection Fraction Of 30%?
Hi, I suffered a heart attack and waited 1hr and 20 min for an ambulance to attend. I was taken to hospital and had a stent fitted......my ejection fraction is around 30 percent and I have LVSD. My question is about life expectancy.....how long can I expect to live a reasonable life.....I am in good health at the moment ....walk each day and look after my home and myself without many problems.

hi
low EJECTION FRACTION OF 30% , you should be care ful with your health & lifestyle
do not lift heavy weights, or increase stress, control your diet ( less salt & oil)
continue smooth walking,without exerting yourself
your cardiac medications such as antiplatelets, diuretics, antihypertensives should be taken strictly.
keep your regular check up with the cardiologist, consult medical care instantly if you have any chest pain, sweating, palpitations, shortness of breath
take care, good luck
