What Is The Life Expectancy Of Having A Left Ventricular Assist Device?

Hello, my husband is 54 years old and is being considered for the Lvad device. He has never had a heart related incident before this current congestive heart failure event. He has been in good health all his life. Non smoker. What is his reasonable life expectancy after receiving this device.
