A well controlled diabetic has a very good life expectancy. Neuropathy is a very common problem in diabetes. In some Neuropathy develops even in prediabetic stage itself. Please follow proper foot care tips like proper footwear, Attention on trimming nails, check your feet everyday before going to sleep, moisturize your foot daily and wear protective footwear. You will be fully normal with good sugar control.
Wishing you the very best.
