What Is The Life Expectancy When Colon Cancer Metastasizes To The Liver?

The Dr. Gave my brother in law 4 maths to live he has colon cancer spread to liver and stomach. He doesn t seem to be in much pain and eats very little. He stills pees in urinal bottle. He is alert but sleeps all through day off and on. Could he have longer? How does she know it will be that so One?

It is hard to prognose but statistically, 30% of patient survive for 1 years and 5% for 3 years. It depends on how wll his general health is and how well is chemotherapy effective. But in every case this is serious diseases and 1 years would be success.
