What Is The Life Expectancy When Suffering From Colorectal Cancer?

what is the life expectancy of 59 year old man with colorectal cancer with mets to both lungs and anterior lymph nodes. he has been taken off chemo so the open wound left for a debridement surgery can heal. also the x-ray taken because of pneumonia showed that the multiple nodules in lungs had already begun to grow before chemo was stopped.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As the tumor is already spread to lungs, curative treatment may not be possible at this stage. Unfortunately prognosis will not be good.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
