What Is The Lifespan Of Severe Alcoholism?

my brother in law drinks until he passes out about every other day. he can't seem to go longer than that without a drink and he'll drink anything, it really doesn't matter. He's already had a quadruple heart bypass(about 9 years ago) and a stent about 3 years ago. He is 63 years old. Doesn't work much anymore (he's a plumberr) He's gotten alot more forgetful lately and I wonder about his lifespan. He lives alone.

He appears to be severely dependent on alcohol plus he is medically unstable. His life is in danger. He can't keep on consuming alcohol.
Its difficult to predict life span in such conditions. As alcohol does not kill a person on its own as cancer, AIDS and other severe illnesses do, it damages almost all system of body including immune system thus making our body too weak and susceptible.
