What Is The Light Spotting When My Periods Are Due?

Hi, About two weeks ago I had light spotting around when my period was due. Iv been nauseated, exhausted, sore breasts, increased smell, and some dizziness. I took a couple home pg tests but they came back negative. They were cheap tests. Is it possible I am pg?

Hi,

Pregnancy tests when taken 10 days after missed period is reliable. Any test before that may give a false negative result in some women. If the results are negative and the symptoms continue, hormonal imbalance should be suspected. You may require hormonal pills to regulate your cycles and prevent irregular periods and spotting. Medical examination along with pelvic ultrasound may be required to identify the cause.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
